Outline:

General Information about this Web Site

  • Intention of this Web Site
This web site was established in order to give you the latest information about the available versions. It also provides you with the location of these releases. What you can also find is a known issues list which you should check before you submit any defects.

  • Support
As already announced during the qualification for the Beta test phase, you will get support directly from the Data Protector lab. Each new defect you submit will be tracked internally by the Data Protector team. We will work on it as soon as possible and we will get back to you if we know where the problem is.

  • Defect Reporting
You can go to the defect reporting page in order to submit defects you found during your tests.
In addition there will be a section that gives you a detailed overview on defects that have already been found by other beta customers so that you can easily identify if the defect that you have found is already known. Every new defect that you submit will earn you a WOB Credit.

  • Latest Versions
Also in the near future, as soon as the first beta version is available you will be able to download it by a mouse click. We will setup a beta ftp server where we will keep the files. Please consider that a NDA will be required. This is a step part of the registration.
